Since a big number of our customers are using Audiense Insights to complement Crimson Hexagon, Sysomos, Brand Watch or any other social listening platforms and to get in-depth insights, we have created an easier way to integrate data from other platforms and elevate it by analysing and having a better understanding of people who are talking about the topics relevant to your brand.
Audiense Insights allows you to create an Intelligence report from your listening platform by uploading a TXT file containing a list of Twitter ID users.
How does it work:
When creating a new report, choose to define your audience by selecting the “Upload a file” option.
The only type of format accepted is TXT, and you will need at least 600 Twitter user IDs, not the Twitter handles (@user).which will be in a number form (12334555). The unique ID is assigned by Twitter to each person as they join the network. This ID is a number, e.i.: 15423244.
Note - each ID should be on a separate line. FAQs: Why do I need 600 users for this?
As an Audiense customer, you can import and analyze any monitoring audiences from Connect, by exporting the XLS version.
Export the data to a TXT file:
1. Export the audience from your listening platform to an XLS file.
*Note that this is an Audiense guideline, and each listening platform generates a different file.
2. Convert the data to the right format. Ensure you export just the Twitter ID’s column, by selecting and copying the ID column and transfer it to a text format. If you are using TextEdit in Mac use the option ‘Make plain text’.
3. Upload the file and create the report :)
