How to export Audiences from Digital Intelligence for LinkedIn to LinkedIn Ads Campaign Manager

This feature allows you to seamlessly export audiences built in Digital Intelligence for LinkedIn directly into LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

Prerequisites & Permissions

To use this feature, you’ll need:

  1. LinkedIn Ads account & access
You must have a LinkedIn Ads account (Campaign Manager) and the necessary permissions to manage or create saved audiences.

  2. Authorization between Audiense and LinkedIn
You need to connect your LinkedIn Ads account to Audiense, granting the required API permissions to push audiences.

  3. Compliance with LinkedIn’s Matching Thresholds
The audience must meet LinkedIn’s minimum audience size/match rate thresholds to successfully export.

  4. Audience Built in Digital Intelligence for LinkedIn
You should already have created and refined an audience segment in Audiense based on Audience attributes and even location.

How to Export Segment to LinkedIn Campaign Manager

Here’s a step-by-step guide:

1. Access the report you want to export the data from to LinkedIn.

2. Click “Export to LinkedIn”:

Audiense DI-Linkedin - export audience

3. Add the Audience Name and you can also add a description:

Digital Intelligence for LinkedIn

4. You receive a message confirming the exportation is ready. Then you can check the audience's data in your Ads Campaign Manager after clicking 'Go to LinkedIn':

DI Intelligence Audiense

After export, your audience appears in LinkedIn as a Saved audience ready to be used in campaigns. You can use it in targeting settings when building or editing campaign ads.

Digital Intelligence for LinkedIn unlocks what Audiense calls “audience signals that actually drive action”: interests, group affiliations, content engagement, machine-learning affinities and pushes them directly into saved audiences on LinkedIn.

This means your campaigns can target professionals not just based on titles or firmographics, but by what they do, read, and care about, making your targeting far more precise and effective
