# What types of strategic audiences can I define with LinkedIn data?

DI for LinkedIn gives you powerful flexibility when it comes to defining and targeting audiences. Whether you're starting with broad professional segments or zeroing in on niche traits, there are **many ways to slice and dice your audience** using LinkedIn's rich data signals.

You can build audiences using combinations of professional, behavioral, and demographic attributes available in **LinkedIn Ads Manager**, including:

- Followers of your brand or competitors
- Members of specific LinkedIn Groups
- Demographics (e.g. age, gender, location)
- Interests (as inferred by LinkedIn's ML models)
- Job titles and functions
- Skills and expertise
- Industry sectors
