Why am I constantly asked to grant permission?
Using MCPs with Claude, you might notice that it's asking you to grant permission every time you run a prompt.
Here's why this happens:
By default, Claude is set to ask for your approval every time it tries to access your report data. This is a safety feature to make sure you’re aware of what it’s accessing.
But we get it, this can become annoying if you’re working frequently.
How to Fix It (One-Time Setup)
To stop being asked over and over, you can tell Claude to always allow access to your Audiense reports.
Just follow these quick steps or check this demo
-
Open Claude Settings
-
Go to Connectors
-
Find the Audiense app you’re using (e.g., Insights)
-
Click the three dots (⋯) next to the "Connected" label
-
Select Tools and settings
-
Change the permission setting from “Always ask” to “Always allow” (or "Always unsupervised")
Once this is done, Claude won’t interrupt you for permissions each time you use a prompt—it’ll just work.
