One of the most powerful and flexible features of Demand Intelligence is the ability to customise how your Demand Score is calculated, specifically through channel and country priorities.
We’re now integrating Channels and Countries prioritisation directly into the report creation process.
Customising channel and country priorities isn’t just a feature, it’s a core part of what makes Demand Intelligence powerful. This setting impacts:
-
Entity ranking
-
Demand Score calculation
-
Overall insights quality and strategic value
Placing this configuration at the beginning ensures that users make these key decisions upfront and improves their understanding of how the Demand Score is calculated.
What’s changing (and what’s not for now)
1. Entering Entities
No changes here. You can still input the entities you want to analyse in the same way.
2. Clearing the Input
Also unchanged. You can reset or clear the input at any time.
3. Setting Channel Priorities
The same flexibility previously offered in Settings is now available during report creation. You can rank platforms like YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc., based on your strategic goals (e.g., visual-first campaigns, influencer focus, etc.).
For example:
If your goal is to identify top visual creators, you might prioritise:TikTok > Instagram > YouTube > Google > X
This allows the Demand Score to reflect the platforms most aligned with your needs.
About Country Priorities
At the moment, countries can’t be prioritised manually, but we are working on improving this based on user feedback.
We encourage you to share your needs regarding country prioritisation or request the addition of specific countries. This helps us shape our roadmap. Let us know via our Product Portal page or your account contact.
Default Country Prioritisation Explained
Until manual prioritisation is available, we use a weighted structure based on market size and digital maturity:
🔴 High Priority Tier (9.5%)
-
US, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia, France
-
Mature digital markets with high content consumption and purchasing power
🟡 Medium Priority Tier (4.8%)
-
India, Brazil, Mexico, Italy, Japan, Spain
-
Large or growing digital audiences; high strategic potential
🟢 Low Priority Tier (2.0%)
-
Nordic countries, Netherlands, Poland, Argentina, Turkey
-
Niche or emerging markets with regional influence or growing consumption
This structure balances global coverage with both short- and long-term strategic value.
