You may wonder how Demand Intelligence enhances data sourcing and delivers meaningful data points.
Data Sources
Social media data can be volatile due to constantly changing API access and our ongoing relationships with data providers. To address this, we developed Demand as a comprehensive tool that captures signals beyond social media, incorporating broader online behavior.
Demand aggregates signals and provides insights from Instagram, X (formerly Twitter), TikTok followers, YouTube subscribers, URL traffic, Google search volume, and YouTube search volume.
This multichannel approach gives a more comprehensive picture of brand and talent perception, reducing noise by leveraging insights across datasets, rather than relying on a single source.
Data Points
Demand’s data combines both static (stock) and dynamic (flow) metrics.
Stock metrics: followers, subscribers, and traffic, are snapshots at the time of data collection.
Flow metrics: historical data trends, with Google Search spanning 36 months and YouTube search covering 12 months.
Combined or stand-alone, these help reveal consistency or shifts in popularity and can guide trend forecasting.
Regional and Socio-Demographic Analysis
Our analysis spans 19 countries, covering markets across most continents, including the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Australia, India and Japan.
Demand also provides socio-demographic data, such as age groups and gender.
Demand Scoring
For ease, we’ve created a percentile-based Demand Score (0-100) that summarizes demand levels across all sources and regions. In Demand, an "Entity" refers to a person, brand, or IP asset (like a film or TV series) that can be tracked for market demand.
Entity Customization
Our extensive entity repository is customizable, allowing you to add entities not yet included in our database. For instance, when creating reports, you’ll see any entities in your list that aren’t found (Not found), highlighted. You can then request these entities be added to our repository before finalizing your report.
Report Results (in-app)
You will see in-app visualizations for your reports when you click on them from your report list.
Report Results (Download files)
To dive into more metrics such as engagement, demographics and interests, you can download your report from the Report List to receive two zip files: Entities (demand data and entities) and Demand Score (All platforms and individual channels).
When downloading, you will receive 2 zip folders with CSV files:
- Folder called Prioritization Demand Score: including files with All Platforms and Individual platform scores for each channel.
- Folder called Prioritization Entities: includes files with All Entities and individual channel data.
It's worth highlighting that the Entities Folder contains the Demand Data file (which is all the raw data) and the Entities file (info about the entities: their social handles, etc.).
