3.5.3 Compare Section - Competitive Analysis

The Competitive Analysis subsection will only appear when you create a Network Graph report including more than one handle in your query. The maximum number of handles you can evaluate under Competitive Analysis is 12. If you include more than 12 handles, this subsection will not appear.

Audience Share: a graph that represents the audience spread for each account when comparing multiple accounts. The standard view shows the actual size of each account’s base relative to the total, whereas the normalized view adjusts sizes for a more balanced comparison (or in other words, it factors in the relative followings for each account). It’s important to note, this graph does not reflect audience overlap; users may be counted multiple times, depending on which accounts they follow.

Audience Overlap: the number of individuals who mutually follow each combination of accounts shown. If only the “Compare followers individually” option is shown, then there are no users who follow a combination of the accounts included in the report.
