1.8.2 FAQ: Combining Keywords and URLs when Creating a Report

When building a Report, you can build a more complex Boolean search using a URL and a keyword.

Step 1: In the Main Menu, start a new report by clicking + New Report.

Step 2: Select the Source (Twitter or Recycle). Click Continue.

Step 3: Click “What they talk about”.

Step 4: In the “People who talk about:” field, enter the Keyword (with quotes if exact syntax desired”) and an operator like AND, OR, NOT followed by “url:<the website url>”. Parenthesis needs to be used around each parameter if more than one parameter is going to be searched.

Example: (“Rock Hudson” AND “url:<https://www.oscars.org/>”)

Step 5: Click Add. The Audience Summary updates.

Step 6. Optionally, add a date range.

Step 7. Click Continue.

Step 8. Continue to add FiltersOptionsSet Benchmarks and Confirm and Launch as described in Report Creation.
