1.8.13 FAQ: Report Management

1. I’ve dragged a report from “My Reports” into a folder. Why does it still appear in “My Reports”?

When you add a report to a folder, this effectively shares the report with a folder. “My Reports” provides a master list of all reports that have been created by or shared with a user.

 

2. I’m trying to remove a report from a folder. How?

To unshare a report, you will need to edit shared recipients by clicking on the settings SettingsICon.png icon beside the report.

 

3. How do I share a folder across a group or company?

Edit the shared recipients by clicking the settings SettingsICon.png icon. When you create a folder, you will have the option to select whether it should be contained within My Account, My Company, or in a Group (if applicable).

 

4. If I delete a folder, what happens to the contained reports?

The reports remain in the owner’s master list and with any shared recipients of the report (this excludes recipients who were shared with the folder and not the report).
