# 5.2.4 Folders - How to Edit a Folder

In this article, we are going to cover three different changes you can make to a folder: edit shared recipients, update the folder's name, and delete a folder.

#### **How to Edit Shared Recipients** 

(i.e. unshare a folder or change a recipient’s permissions)

**Step 1**: Find the folder you would like to edit and hover it with your cursor.

 

**Step 2**: Click the **pencil** icon. Here you will be able to add, delete, view, and change rights for shared recipients.

**Step 3**: Find the list of recipients below the “Shared with” heading. Here you will be able to make changes as permitted (i.e. determined by your user permissions). Use the “x” to remove recipients, and the drop-down menu to change “view” and “edit” permissions.

**Step 4**: Click the **Save** button once you’ve finished.

 

**Step 5**: You should receive a pop-up message, “All changes successful.” If you get an error message, try following these steps again, or contact our support if the error persists.

#### **Update a Folder’s Name**

**Step 1**: Find the folder you would like to edit and hover it with your cursor.

**Step 2**: Click the pencil icon to edit.

 

**Step 3**: Type over the folder’s existing name to change it and click **Save**.

#### **Delete a Folder**

**Step 1**: Find the folder you’d like to delete and hover it. The folder highlights and a pencil icon appears.

**Step 2**: Click the **pencil** (Edit) icon to enter the Edit mode. The Edit mode dialog appears.

**Step 3**: Click the red **Delete Sports** button. A warning displays advising asking you to confirm the deletion.

**Step 4**: Click **OK**.

The folder will also be deleted for all shared recipients. Any reports stored within a deleted folder will revert to the Owner’s Reports.
