3.3.1 Interests Section - How to Interpret Tracked Interests

How can Tracked Interests be viewed?

  1. Tracked Interest Group: Toggle between the option to view all the groups of tracked interests, all individual ones, or one specific group of tracked interests.
  2. View: Change the view of tracked interests from grid view, list view, or heatmap view
  3. Sort By: Sort tracked interests by global or local relevance or global or local affinity
  4. Shading: click this to view or unview shading (for screenshot purposes)

How to interpret the Heatmap

When sorted by Affinity: The heat map displays a darker shade over tracked interests that have a higher affinity score. If you look at the image below, we can see that we are looking at Fashion tracked interests, and that cluster 2 (Politics) have the highest affinity.

When sorted by Relevance: The heat map displays a darker shade over Tracked Interests that have a higher relevance score. If you look at the image below, we see that we are looking at the individual tracked interest group for Fashion. If we look at Cluster 2, the 1st tracked interest is the most relevant account to this cluster, but you can also see that all tracked interests are more relevant to this Politics cluster when compared to the other clusters.
