Recycling Reports allows you to use an existing report as the basis for a new report. It auto-populates the report builder with a past query and you can add/ change filters before running the new report. This will save you time entering forgotten benchmarks, editing a boolean query, changing the cluster number and quickly adding in a location or handle.
How to recycle a report:
1: Select + New Report from the dropdown menu in the platform
2: Select the Recycle icon
3: Select the report you wish to recycle from your list, and click the "i" icon then Recycle Report.
4: Add in any additional handles, bio keywords, or locations you would like included in your new report in step 3 (Filters) of the report builder and click Continue.
5: Adjust the number of clusters, add in tracked terms, or change the followers range in step 4 (Options) in the report builder and click Continue.
6: Add in any "one-time" or "saved" benchmarks to your new report in step 5 (Set benchmarks) of the report builder, and click Continue.
7: Name your new report and click Launch.
Things to note about recycling reports:
- You can recycle reports that are still in pending; you can recycle a report that you have just run even if it has not finished processing yet
- You can recycle your own reports, or ones that have been shared with your account
- You cannot recycle report types that are no longer supported, such as Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Pinterest reports
- You are not able to run the EXACT same report, you must change at least one of the following parameters: Handle, Bio Keywords, Location, Boolean query word, or number of clusters.
- When recycling a report, the number of clusters in the new report will default to the recommended number based on the audience size, it will not stay the same as the number you selected in your original report
